In this hands-on cookalong, you'll explore the building blocks of Mexican cooking through the preparation of a taco feast from scratch. Along the way, you'll learn about the ingredients, techniques and flavours that have shaped this cuisine for generations.
During the experience, you will make:
Handmade tortillas from scratch and assemble your own tacos with a choice of mushroom barbacoa or chicken al pastor filling
Four Mexican salsas: salsa taqueria, salsa roja, pineapple salsa and pico de gallo
Classic guacamole
Tostones rellenos, a popular Latin American appetiser
The experience concludes around the table, where you'll enjoy everything you've created together.

One ticket is valid for one participant.
Ticket price includes all material, equipment and utilities required required for the cookalong.
Registrations close on the day of the experience - an hour prior to the start time, subject to availability of seats.

About The Host
Chef Parikshit first stepped into the kitchen during his school years, learning the basics from his mother. What began as simple helping out quickly evolved into a deep-seated passion and a full-time career. His culinary journey gained significant momentum in Florida, where he worked at a bustling Latin American fusion restaurant. There, he collaborated on staff meals with colleagues from across Latin America and spent his days off exploring local taco stands and neighborhood eateries. This immersive exposure to authentic Mexican street food completely redefined his approach to cooking. Now, with two and a half years of experience at his company and a year dedicated to a specialized Mexican restaurant, Chef Parikshit is excited to share the vibrant flavors, techniques, and stories that defined his culinary journey.
