Brijesh Chiranjeevi walked away from commercial photography and cinematography when the industry began to feel a bit too polished and forgettable. For him, film reintroduced the necessary friction that digital work was missing.
In 2019, Brijesh founded The Film Lab India just before the onset of the pandemic. While it initially appeared to be terrible timing, it proved to be a blessing; as the world slowed down, so did photography, and people began craving a more deliberate, slow process once again.
Today, Brijesh works entirely in analog and operates a lab built on that same core belief: that the magic resides in the waiting, the mistakes, and the elements of the craft that seem to have been forgotten.
As our cities swell, we tend to do fewer and repetitive things for recreation. With Trove, you get to break the monotony and explore fresh activities in your city, meet like-minded souls, and develop a deeper appreciation for the finer things.
Most of us likely resonate with terms like 'workshops' or 'events.’ What makes these an 'experience' is the energies we put into scouring the right artists, creators and storytellers, to ensure that each Trove Experience leaves you enriched with meaningful moments to collect for your very own treasure trove.
FAQs
It's best if you book online well in advance. Since we work in small groups and on a first come, first serve basis, last minute availability may be limited.
The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.
We don’t typically do discounts since our experiences are designed for intimate groups with small margins. However, we do promise to pack enough value in terms of what you will experience.
For individuals dealing with vertigo, have had recent eye surgeries, or conditions affecting your balance, this experience may not be suitable for you.
