About the Host
Anuradha heads Marketing & Communication for Bombay Perfumery - a progressive label that aims to make modern perfumery scents accessible to the discerning Indian consumer. Over the course of her 8 year journey with Bombay Perfumery, Anuradha has worked closely with the founder of Bombay Perfumery, Manan Gandhi, giving her a unique opportunity to understand and observe the art of perfume making and seek knowledge on ingredient harvesting, provenance and sourcing. Anuradha has been trained by the family in the basics of the craft of perfume making to help her understand the nuances of the business.

Is this a perfumery course? Will I receive any certifications for attending this experience?
The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide professional courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.
Do I need prior experience with perfume making?
We’ve designed this experience to be beginner-friendly. We will provide all the necessary knowledge and tools for you to create your own unique scent in this experience.
Can I take my perfume home?
Yes. You get to create and take home your own signature 30ml perfume bottle.
How far in advance should I book the spot?
It's best if you book online well in advance. Since we work in small groups and on a first come, first serve basis, last minute availability may be limited.
Will I get a discount for this experience?
We don’t typically do discounts since our experiences are designed for intimate groups with small margins. However, we do promise to pack enough value in terms of what you will experience.
Are the fragrances used natural or synthetic?
Our perfumes are a blend of natural essential oils and synthetic compounds, especially when suitable natural alternatives are not readily available.
Is the perfume we make alcohol-based?
Yes. We use an alcohol-based solvent for our perfumes and we will discuss different types of perfumes based on their concentration, during the experience.
