By the time it reached America, it had already been shaped by centuries of experimentation. But it was in 19th-century New York that it took on its most iconic form — with the invention of cream cheese giving rise to the smooth, dense, and tangy version that now defines the classic.

Dive into the world of cheesecakes and learn to bake two eggless versions (New York and Basque) from scratch. Discover the origins and science behind the ingredients, try your hand at making toppings, and finally, enjoy your creations paired with a selection of savouries served in-house.

Note: Each participant will make two cheesecakes of each type in 3-inch rings. Only eggless options will be available.

  • Ticket price includes all material, equipment and utilities required for the cookalong.

Chef Rahul, a 25-year-old pastry chef with over 5 years of experience in the industry is Currently working as a Senior Pastry Chef Instructor at La Bake Amore, Delhi, where he has the privilege of sharing his knowledge and passion with aspiring chefs every day.

His expertise lies in chocolate and classic French-style pastries, but what truly defines his style are the signature plated desserts. he loves creating plates that not only taste exceptional but also tell a story through textures, temperatures, and elegant presentation. For him, pastry is both a science and an art—and he's constantly inspired to push creative boundaries while staying rooted in technique.

The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.

Will I get a discount for this experience?

We don’t typically do discounts since our experiences are designed for intimate groups with small margins. However, we do promise to pack enough value in terms of what you will experience.
