Drawing inspiration from community dining and the pleasures of deep diving into the art of cooking, this experience helps you engage all five senses when you're in the kitchen.

The theme for this cookalong is Asian cuisine - Dim Sum making.

Cookalong: Work with different types of doughs in Dim Sum-making; learn 3 different methods of folding dimsums; learn to fold a wonton and how to steam it; learn to make 2 dipping sauces.

Menu: A tasting of freshly made Japanese teas; the Dim Sums that you make, along with a variety of housemade Dim Sums, one appetiser, one mocktail.

 Note: The cookalong includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

  • One ticket is valid for one participant.
  • Ticket price includes all material, equipment and utilities required required for the cookalong.
  • Registrations close on the day of the experience - an hour prior to the start time, subject to availability of seats.

About The Host

Chef Omkaar Unni began his culinary career by studying in the IHM, Chennai. His interest in the field led him to graduate from ‘The Park’ group of Hotels as a Culinary Management Trainee. His expertise ranges from Italian to Japanese and Pan-Asian, as well as Mediterranean or Levantine style of cooking. He started out with Continental cuisine, and gradually realised his passion for Asian cooking. Through the course of his practice, he discovered his interest for Japanese cuisine and delved into it. Today, he specialises in Asian cuisine, with expertise in Sushi, Yakitori, Donburi and Dim Sums.

Chef Omkaar’s profound love for food is seen through the emotions felt by his guests when they savour their meals. He believes that handling ingredients with care can transform simple produce into stunning dishes. He is constantly driven to innovate and create more dishes while improving the dining experience of his guests.
