About The Host

Mohan Lamichhane is a culinary expert from Nepal who embarked on his journey in India in 2003. Starting in the food service industry in 2006, Mohan transitioned to food production in 2008, gaining diverse experiences along the way.

In 2010, he joined Wow Momo and played a key role in expanding the company to Bangalore. By June 2012, Mohan was part of Chef Manu’s team at Olive Bar and Kitchen, where he was captivated by the variety of cuisines, including Sushi, Dimsum, Thai food, Japanese Ramen, and Chinese salads.

Initially focusing on Dimsum, salads, and ramen, Mohan soon found a passion for sushi. Since 2016, he has dedicated himself to mastering this art, believing that high quality, consistent taste, and authenticity are crucial for making people love sushi. He credits his mentor, Chef Prashant Puttwasamy, for his growth and success.

Mohan’s story is a testament to his dedication and love for culinary excellence.

What's a 'Trove Experience’

As our cities swell, we tend to do fewer and repetitive things for recreation. With Trove, you get to break the monotony and explore fresh activities in your city, meet like-minded souls, and develop a deeper appreciation for the finer things.

Most of us likely resonate with terms like 'workshops' or 'events.’ What makes these an 'experience' is the energies we put into scouring the right artists, creators and storytellers, to ensure that each Trove Experience leaves you enriched with meaningful moments to collect for your very own treasure trove.
