Drawing inspiration from community dining and the pleasures of deep diving into the art of cooking and dining well, this experience helps you engage all five senses when you're in the kitchen.

The theme for this cookalong is Pasta-making.

  • The cookalong: Learn to make Pasta dough, 1 stuffed pasta , 1 flat pasta (Fettuccine). Learn how to knead the pasta dough, rest, roll and sheet out the dough into shapes.

  • The demonstration: Pesto & Arabiatta sauce. 

Participants will take home the pasta that is rolled out, with instructions on how to cook it at home; you’ll also be sampling two pasta dishes which are made at Toast & Tonic.

Q. Are children allowed to attend the experience?

A: Our experiences are typically designed for adults seeking a specific level of engagement. There is more appreciation overall towards what we're offering. However, children above the age of 12 can join the experience, if they are accompanied by a parent for supervision.

Q. Can I take back the pasta that I have made?

A. Yes, you can take home the pasta you’ve prepared during the cookalong.

Q. Will I learn to make the filling for the stuffed pasta?

A. While our cookalong will cover the preparation of a delicious pasta dish, the process of making the filling for stuffed pasta is quite involved and time-consuming. As such, in this experience the focus is on creating the pasta dish rather than the stuffing. However, the recipe card you take back home will include the instructions for making the stuffing, which you can try on your own.

Q. Do you offer Vegan/ Gluten-free dietary options for the cookalong?

A. Currently, we do not provide vegan or gluten-free options for our cookalong experiences.

Q. Is this experience beginner-friendly?

A. This experience is absolutely beginner-friendly. Our experts will take you through everything you need to know, making it a fun and accessible experience for everyone.

Q. How far in advance should I book the spot?

A. It's best if you book online well in advance. Since we work in small groups and on a first come first serve basis, last minute availability may be limited.

Q: Will I receive certifications for attending the experience?

A. The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.

Q. Will I get a discount for this experience?

A. We don’t typically do discounts since our experiences are designed for intimate groups with small margins. However, we do promise to pack enough value in terms of what you will experience.
