Ajay Chakraborty trained at the International Institute of Hotel Management, Goa, and began his culinary journey in France, completing his stagiaire at a two-Michelin-star restaurant where he developed a strong foundation in classical techniques and kitchen discipline. He went on to work at Sheraton Grand Doha, refining his understanding of Mediterranean cuisine within a luxury hospitality setting. After moving to Bengaluru, he served as Chef de Partie in a continental-focused kitchen, and is currently Senior Chef de Partie at Olive, where he continues to focus on craft, ingredients, and consistency.
Dhanya Subramani began her career as an Operations Trainee at HMSHost, a global restaurateur, before joining Jamie Oliver’s restaurant chain in Bangalore, where she honed her skills in authentic hand-tossed pizzas and handmade pastas. She currently works at Olive Beach as Commis 1, contributing to research and development and playing an active role in shaping new menus.

Yes, you can take home the pasta you’ve prepared during the cookalong.
While our cookalong will cover the preparation of a delicious pasta dish, the process of making the filling for stuffed pasta is quite involved and time-consuming. As such, in this experience the focus is on creating the pasta dish rather than the stuffing. However, the recipe card you take back home will include the instructions for making the stuffing, which you can try on your own.
Currently, we do not provide vegan or gluten-free options for our cookalong experiences.
This experience is absolutely beginner-friendly. Our experts will take you through everything you need to know, making it a fun and accessible experience for everyone.
It's best if you book online well in advance. Since we work in small groups and on a first come first serve basis, last minute availability may be limited.
The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.
