What began as a simple comfort food soon turned into a global fascination. Originating in China, ramen found its way to Japan in the 19th century as wheat noodles.

Over time, each region shaped it in its own way, turning it from a street stall staple to a culinary craft, mastered in both tiny ramen shops and Michelin-starred kitchens. This humble, steamy bowl evolved through war and innovation, becoming a true reflection of Japanese cuisine, culture, and comfort.

Join our Ramen Cookalong Experience and learn to craft authentic ramen—make noodles from scratch, prepare your own tare, explore rich broths, assemble a steaming ramen bowl with your choice of toppings and savour the ramen you make.

Note: The cookalong will include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

What's a 'Trove Experience’

As our cities swell, we tend to do fewer and repetitive things for recreation. With Trove, you get to break the monotony and explore fresh activities in your city, meet like-minded souls, and develop a deeper appreciation for the finer things.

Most of us likely resonate with terms like 'workshops' or 'events.’ What makes these an 'experience' is the energies we put into scouring the right artists, creators and storytellers, to ensure that each Trove Experience leaves you enriched with meaningful moments to collect for your very own treasure trove.
