Heta Davey is a textile designer, having graduated from Srishti School of Art Design and Technology in India. Heta is the founder of a sustainable, conscious clothing label called Basal Studio, where she combines her passion for textiles and love for nature to create bespoke handcrafted pieces.
Through her craft, she aims to share the magic of natural colours and fabrics, and handmade pieces that bear their own imperfections, to ultimately guide us all back to our roots.

Can we bring our own fabric?
No, we provide the fabric in the experience, as it needs to be pre-processed to ensure the dye absorbs properly.
What is the minimum age to join the experience?
The minimum age is 7 years. Below that they can come with a parent.
What is the size of the fabric?
The fabric is 0.5 meters wide and 1 meter long.
Are only natural dyes used?
Yes, natural ingredients like flowers, leaves and other botanicals are used to create dyes in this experience.
How far in advance should I book the spot?
It's best if you book online well in advance. Since we work in small groups and on a first come, first serve basis, last minute availability may be limited.
Will I get a discount for this experience?
We don’t typically do discounts, since our experiences are designed for intimate groups with small margins. However, we do promise to pack enough value in terms of what you will experience.
