We have all made paper boats and planes as kids, unaware of the geometry and precision that went into making them. A flat sheet of paper with the right folds can turn into surprisingly complex 3D forms. That is Origami: the Japanese craft of paper folding, where almost any shape can take form without cutting, sculpting or assembling separate pieces.

This experience is in collaboration with Roku Gin, a Japanese craft gin shaped by the flavours of Japan’s changing seasons. In origami, a sheet of paper is transformed into intricate forms through carefully considered folds. Roku follows a similar spirit of simplicity with intention, bringing together six Japanese botanicals, each chosen to capture a different season.

Join us and unfold the fascinating world of origami. Discover the philosophy behind the craft, explore different kinds of paper and their variations in texture, weight and flexibility. Learn to create an origami flower and a table lamp, and experience firsthand how this ancient art combines process, precision and creativity.

Sameeksha is a full-time origami artisan, paper designer, and the creative force behind her brand, Senori. Her journey with paper folding grew out of a curiosity for how a flat sheet could transform into dynamic, living forms. Blending architectural intuition with a deep appreciation for geometry, scale, and movement, she crafts paper works that are delicate yet bold—designed to be lived with, gifted, and remembered. Through her workshops and installations, Sameeksha encourages participants to slow down, explore the precision of tactile art, and experience the wonder of form through paper.

The experiences we offer are one-time, 2-3 hour formats that cover the introductory aspects of the topic. We don't provide courses or official certifications; the idea is to simply discover something new in an engaging manner, and in the company of like-minded people.
