Divya Ramesh K, the founder of The Matcha Project and a dedicated matcha educator, began her journey in 2018 after her initial experience with matcha in Bangkok. Since then, her passion has evolved into years of independent research, tasting sessions, pop-ups, workshops, and fostering community-led education in Bengaluru.
Her core philosophy is that understanding matcha leads naturally to respecting it. She is recognized for demystifying complex tea knowledge, making it accessible and relatable, and focusing on helping individuals enjoy matcha without the burden of intimidation or elitism.
