In this experience, in collaboration with Roku Gin, explore the flavours of matcha, genmaicha and hojicha with a seasoned tea connoisseur. Learn the basics of whisking, brew a smooth ceremonial-style matcha and sip on a matcha cocktail crafted with Roku Gin. Set in the spirit of Shun, when ingredients are at their seasonal peak, this marks the time of the matcha harvest. The leaves are at their most vibrant, making it the perfect moment to explore Japanese tea brewing at its fullest.

About The Host
Based in Mumbai, Reagan Creado is known for his taste in Asian teas, having amassed a large collection of tea ware over the years. What began as a hobby, subjecting his family and friends to all kinds of strange teas, has evolved into a lifelong pursuit for fresh tea.
Only using un-flavoured whole-leaf tea often sourced directly from producers, he likes to brew tea the old-people’s way, often stretching a single portion of leaves for a whole day.
Trained in the art of Chado under the Urasenke School of Tea, he enjoys pursuing the perfect matcha brewed the traditional way. Reagan’s day job is as a landscaping designer where he integrates edible, colourful and useful plants into multi-functional gardens and layered food forests.
